Website Opportunity Report

What’s working — and what’s quietly costing The Vic Downtown online.

Prepared for: The Vic Downtown — Coffee Roastery & Bistro
377 Victoria St (corner of 4th & Victoria), Kamloops, BC
Report date: July 10, 2026
Prepared by Tim, owner of the Overlander Motel, Chase, BC. I redesigned my own business’s website this year and saw real results — this report applies the same lens to The Vic Downtown.
Section 1 — What you already do well

A genuine downtown institution

Section 2 — Your current online presence

Where things stand today

WebsiteYou have a site at vicdowntown.com — good foundation, but it leans on general copy and doesn’t put the in-house roasting, full menu, or reviews front and centre.
Reviews~4.4★ / ~121 Google reviews (as researched July 10, 2026). Strong social proof that isn’t showcased on the homepage.
Online orderingNo visible “order ahead / pickup” path. Every coffee-break customer has to line up in person — a missed convenience for busy downtown workers.
Mobile / searchMost café traffic is mobile and “near me.” A fast, mobile-first page tuned for “Kamloops coffee / breakfast downtown” would help you get found.

Design note: the demo already uses real photos of The Vic — your storefront, interior, and patio, sourced from public listings. Swap in your own hi-res shots any time; no stock or AI images are used.
Section 5 — Your demo

A concept homepage, built for you

I built a working demo homepage around your roasting story, full menu, reviews, and an order-ahead flow — using your real details (address, hours, 250-374-6487, tagline “Great location. Great people. Great coffee.”).

Section 6 — Why work with me

I run a local business too

I own the Overlander Motel in Chase, BC. After I redesigned our own website this year, we saw more direct bookings and two of our strongest revenue months on record. I’m not a designer guessing what a Kamloops business needs online — I’ve lived the cost of a weak web presence on my own property first.
