Website Opportunity Report

What's working — and what's costing Bamboo Inn customers — online.

Prepared for: Bamboo Inn Restaurant
6-1800 Tranquille Rd, Kamloops, BC V2B 3L9
Report date: July 9, 2026
Prepared by Tim — owner, Overlander Motel, Chase, BC. I redesigned my own motel's website earlier this year and saw real results; this report applies the same lens to Bamboo Inn.
Section 1 — Business overview

What Bamboo Inn does well already

A fully licensed, family-run Chinese restaurant on Tranquille Rd — dine-in, takeout, and delivery, with online ordering already set up through Snappy.

Section 2 — Current digital presence analysis

Where the online presence currently lives

Websitebambooinnrestaurant.com exists and links to Snappy for ordering, but the homepage itself is thin — it doesn't tell the restaurant's story or show the food before someone reaches the order screen.
Online reputation2.6/5 on TripAdvisor (17 reviews) — a small, mixed sample that doesn't match the "top notch food, great service" praise in the individual reviews below. Google's own current star rating wasn't independently verifiable through automated research; worth a quick check on your Google Business Profile before this goes out.
Ordering systemSnappy is live and working — this should be preserved as the ordering flow, not replaced.
Customer experienceSome photos currently on the live site appear AI-generated or AI-enhanced, which can quietly undercut trust for anyone who notices.
Mobile experienceFunctional, but generic — doesn't showcase what makes the food or the dining room worth choosing over a delivery-app-only competitor.

A concept showing what this could become

This is a concept showing what your online presence could become — keeping Snappy exactly as-is, just giving customers a reason to trust the food before they get there.

Section 6 — Why work with us

We understand small local businesses because we operate one

I own the Overlander Motel in Chase, BC. Earlier this year I redesigned our own website — since then we've seen more direct bookings, reduced reliance on third-party platforms for some reservations, and had our two strongest revenue months on record. I'm not a web designer guessing what a local restaurant needs; I've lived the exact problem of a weak homepage undercutting a good business, on my own property, first.
